I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
In our art period were are making kowhaiwhai and that is patterns. At first we start off with a piece of paper with a word on it and I got aroha ( is love) and we made patterns on the paper so it looks more pretty.
This looks lovely! Well done! Can you explain what the different kowhaiwhai patterns represent? I do like that you included the definition for 'aroha' for anyone who might not know.
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows: 1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared. 2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say 3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
